Shelby Announces $214,087 for the University of Alabama

U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala), a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $214,087 to the University of Alabama for its nursing research project, Legacy Intervention Family Enactment (LIFE): An Effectiveness Trial.

“The University of Alabama will use this funding to conduct nursing research,” said Shelby. “Nurses are vital to the American health care system and we must support meritorious research projects to strengthen this important industry.”
