Senate Passes Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2004
Sen. Shelby said, "I am very pleased that the Senate has once again recognized the merits of this funding request and agreed to provide $4 million to further the work of the International Fertilizer Development Center in Muscle Shoals. In addition to the important research conducted at this facility, the facility employs numerous Muscle Shoals-area residents."
These funds are subject to a .59% across-the-board recision as stated in the FY 2004 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
