SHELBY ANNOUNCES $100,000 FOR AUBURN UNIVERSITY

WASHINGTON, D. C.--- U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) announced today that $100,000 will be released from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) for Auburn University to promote job creation and private investment.

This Technical Assistance Grant will be used by EDA’s University Center to assist small to medium size businesses across the state create and retain jobs through management and research assistance.

Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased to announce $100,000 for Auburn University. These funds will help spur economic success for businesses throughout Alabama. The University Center helps to ensure that no community is excluded from the opportunity to achieve the American dream.”
