Shelby Announces Red Cross Assistance Available for Tornado Victims

U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), today announced that the American Red Cross is responding to the tornadoes that touched down in the Prattville area on Sunday.  The American Red Cross of Central Alabama will provide food, shelter and other assistance to tornado victims.

“February’s tornado activity has shown no mercy for Alabamians,” said Shelby. “Though many homes and businesses were destroyed as a result Sunday’s tornado activity in the Prattville area, I am thankful that no lives were lost.  I encourage anyone who was affected by the tornadoes and is in need of assistance to contact the American Red Cross.”
