SHELBY ANNOUNCES OVER $660,000 FOR THE AMERICAN VILLAGE IN MONTEVALLO

WASHINGTON, D. C.--- U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL), a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, announced today that $661,333 will be released from the Department of Transportation for transportation improvements at the American Village in Montevallo, AL.

Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased that the Department of Transportation is releasing these funds so the American Village can make necessary improvements at their educational campus in Montevallo. Specifically, these funds will be used for the construction of an access road, bus lanes, and a parking facility. The American Village helps educate its visitors on the foundations of our country, and I was pleased to support this project.”
