U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will award $232,500 to Auburn University for diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolic research.
“Auburn University is home to some of the world’s best research facilities,” said Shelby. “This research will help doctors better understand congenital disorders that relate to some of the most serious health issues affecting Americans. Medical research conducted at Auburn will benefit the lives of people across our nation.”
