SHELBY ANNOUNCES OVER $1.4 MILLION FOR BLACKWELL FIELD IN OZARK

WASHINGTON, D. C. — U.S. Senator Richard C. Shelby (R-Ala) announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation will be releasing $1,402,302 for Blackwell Field in Ozark. These funds will be used for taxiway construction. In this phase of the taxiway construction project, grading and paving will be done to relocate the parallel taxiway.

Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased to announce over $1.4 million for Blackwell Field in Ozark. These funds will help achieve the objective of bringing the airport’s taxiway up to standards to accommodate the increased traffic flow at Blackwell Field.”
