U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) today announced that the Department of Veterans Affairs will establish a new center in Madison, Alabama.
“It is critical that our nation’s combat veterans have access to outreach and readjustment counseling through the VA,” said Shelby. “Expanding Vet Center Services to Alabama will ensure the combat veterans in our state have access to the important services they need.”
The new center is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of December 2009.
