The SJS Program will enhance Alabama’s capacity to address criminal justice issues through the collection and analysis of data. These funds will enable Alabama to conduct research to estimate impacts of legislative and policy changes within the State. This project will be completed by the Alabama Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) which is located within the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center.
Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased to announce over $49,000 for the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center. These funds will be used to facilitate the SJS Program which will allow Alabama to better understand the impact of policy changes as they work address the criminal justice issues of the State.”
