SHELBY ANNOUNCES $1 MILLION FOR TROY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

WASHINGTON, D. C. — U.S. Senator Richard C. Shelby (R-Ala) announced today that the U.S. Department of Transportation will be releasing $1 million to the City of Troy. These funds will be used to acquire land for the Troy Municipal Airport.

Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased to announce $1 million for the City of Troy. These funds will be used to acquire land for the development and expansion of the airport so that it may better accommodate the needs of the fast-growing Troy area.”
