SHELBY ANNOUNCES $248,000 FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FAIRHOPE LIBRARY

WASHINGTON, D. C. — U.S. Senator Richard C. Shelby (R-Ala) announced today that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will soon be releasing $248,000 to the City of Fairhope. These funds were awarded under Fiscal Year 2005 Special Project Grant.

Senator Shelby said, “I am pleased to announce over $248,000 for the City of Fairhope. This funding will assist the City of Fairhope with the construction of a new library.”
